Salem residents, I urge you to do two things:
(1) Cast your ballot in the May 21 Primary Election. Be sure it's postmarked on or before election day, or placed in an official collection box. Postage is paid for.
(2) Vote for these local candidates for Mayor and City Council.

Also for County Clerk Bill Burgess who is in a tough 3-way race including one Republican MAGA candidate who wants to turn back the clock on the efficient and effective way we vote in Marion County.
