What ever the National Republic National Party's intent, declaring a destructive crowd to be an example of "legitimate political discourse"...<p>What ever the National Republic National Party's intent, declaring a destructive crowd to be an example of "legitimate political discourse" is an unacceptable, undemocratic (small d) and unwelcome political position.</p>
<p>Attacking individuals, destroying property and threatening bodily harm to individuals who disagree with a point of view is not "legitimate political discourse." </p>
<p>Attacking, destroying and threatening is the behavior of authoritarian political thugs -- be they self righteous Christian vigilantes, Muslim fanatics, Nazi skinheads, state sponsored law enforcement officials or would be dictators.</p>
<p>Legitimacy derives from the adherence to legal requirements. If you do not like the law; use a legal process to change the law without attacking, destroying or threatening. The alternative is civil war or revolution. <br />
