A number of interesting suppositions are floating around.

My favorite; suppose California passed a law forbidding everyone in the state from going out in public without wearing a mask, and then authorized anyone, any where in the world, (except state officials or state workers) to sue such persons and collect $10,000 from the state. I wonder, would Republicans everywhere rejoice . . ?

Would the Loud Boys?

Remember, if it's an accurate copy of the Texas law, the parties pressing the lawsuits can sue if the defendant was merely "intending" to violate the law. So, persons thinking about violating some law are now committing a crime, and mindreading civilian vigilantes everywhere can hound them into court and force them to pay the mindreaders' legal fees.
