Mountain West Investment Corp. should really be at the top of the list of contributors. They gave $25,000 to the Chamber's Create Jobs PAC in January, which gave it to the Chamber's Build Jobs PAC which in turn distributed to money to several of the candidates. So their contributions in this cycle really total $27,000. With our "no holds barred" campaign finance system in Oregon that kind of "hide the ball" tactic is very common. Thankfully our Supreme Court just reversed themselves on earlier decisions that stood in the way of serious campaign finance reform in this state. It can't come too soon.
