A small correction needs to be made to the Salem Weekly article about the "stakeholders" (and hence to your post). The 32 people were the ones who came to the stakeholder meeting on January 31st, not the ones who were invited. This was reported a week or so after the meeeting by City staff after some badgering. We don't know who was invited. The point remains that it was a very unrepresentative group, and their suggestions need to be taken in that light. I think there might have been a plan to have the "stakeholders" get together again, but thankfully that plan seems to have been shelved. Thanks to Michael Slater and Warren Binford and others who outed the "stakeholders."
