Hi Brian, Thanks for taking the time to publicize what's going on in our city. I hope the citizens of Ward 6 vote and select someone who truly represents them. I've been tracking the candidates some and note that Gregg Peterson seems to be someone who could represent Ward 6 quite well, even if it's not a progressive. His history shows he knows hardship (grew up in Compton, single parent) and how to persevere, making him not only relatable, but also inspirational, and in line with the 2nd role of your blog: to stick up for the little guy. Perhaps you're right about Hoy or Crow being the better fit to represent Ward 6, but I don't think Gregg should be dismissed merely for having the wrong label.

Thanks again for all your commentary and bringing local politics to light.
