Hi…! I first moved to portland in 1972 and I AGREE, Portland was cool and grey and misty often, windstorms out of the Gorge, ice storms. Lived in southern Oregon beginning in ‘78, even then I recall driving north that you could pretty much count on lots more moisture from Roseburg north. Left in ‘01 and one of the reasons…the HEAT. One summer 115!! OK, cooler climes beckoned. Don’t even get me STARTED on ‘Oregon politics’…. just kidding. Glad you’re still here and writing!
