I thought it was utter drivel and I struggled to stay awake !

I saw this movie today.at the theater. I stayed through about the halfway point and then could take it no longer. Acting was good but storyline horrific. How on Earth did this ever win Best Picture?

My husband and I got through about 25 minutes of it before looking at each other helplessly, saying in unison, “What the hell?” We didn’t get it and didn’t want to get it. Totally nonsensical and boring.

I could only watch it for fifteen minutes. I didn’t like it and I don’t understand how it won any awards.

Once one understands the central concepts of the movie - a multiverse, a battle of good vs. evil and the dao of nothingness, and the redemptive power of family and love - all of which is revealed within the first 30-45 minutes of the movie - one us left with 2-1/2 hours of chaos, noise, and filler. It becomes wearisome and boring. I forced myself to watch to the end - but there were no plot twists or new concepts to keep me engaged. And as a fan of sci-fi and alternative reality movies, I didn’t even find the underlying concept to be original. Overall, it was a failure.
