Wow, great video. It explains a lot. I think there is a lot of pressure right now to turn Wallace Road into a stroad all the way out the the edge of town and the same for Highway 22 heading west from West Salem. We can't allow this to happen. This is a big part of the motivation for the 3rd Bridge. If Wallace heading north were turned into a stroad then the hope would be that people from North Salem would come over the bridge to shop there. A Highway 22 stroad could attract shoppers from Dallas and Monmouth/Independence. Our City Council needs to be told, "No more stroads in Salem!" Wallace north of Orchard Heights and Highway 22 west need to remain roads and not be turned into stroads.
