The irritating part of the company wanting to destroy the orchards is that they add to the beauty there, help with pollution and considering the number of houses for sale, uncompleted developments in Medford (my daughter lives there), they don't need that land for homes just yet anyway. This is all that you said it was. Frustrating. I hadn't heard about the Harry and David sale but always like visiting their store when there. A shame that another local business is being hurt by the consolidation into one big company of so many :(
