Well don't count this battle over in Oregon just yet either. Already the signs are popping up out here in the rural areas and most are against 49. Unfortunately because they seem to be in the road right of ways, I am not sure they reflect the actual land owners. There ought to be a law against doing that without owner permission. They say it's a wolf in sheep's clothing and ignore what it says to scare people that somehow it's government being sneaky. The agricultural groups are split over whether to support 49 or not with about half against it. I am sure if the cities support it, it'll go through whether rural Oregon agrees or not but I just wouldn't count my chickens on this one until it's been voted on. Through slick advertising, it is awfully easy to fool people.

It went down, by about a two-one margin.

Hooray!
