I've already heard from some new HinesSight viewers (well, almost all the viewers are new, actually), who said some nice things about our humble weblog--especially the photo of Serena, which seems to be the favorite post so far. Some problems also were pointed out, and I'm trying to fix them. I'm slowly learning some of the tricks of the trade of the Internet, such as "don't reduce the margin of Word files unless you want some browsers to see what you've written as a teeny-tiny one-word column that stretches on for near-infinity." No, I didn't mean to do this with the "Stuck at Lake Partway" piece, if you've tried to read it in its original incarnation. Hopefully it is more readable and printable now.
I've also been told that there is some weirdness on the Home page with the AOL browser. My not-particularly-charitable response is, "Anyone who chooses to use AOL, you get what you deserve." In the early days of AOL I had some horrible experiences trying to get rid of their software after I had installed a trial version. Sort of like RealPlayer now, except even worse. You think it's dead and gone, but it keeps popping up even after you thought a stake had been put through its sinister undeletable software heart.
