Brian, you should read Shrimad Bhagwad Gita atleast!

Arun, I first read the Bhagavad Gita in 1969, about 54 years ago. I still have that book. So what was I supposed to learn from the Gita?

It’s not like all atheists are the same. There are different “sects” of atheism as well. 😂

But I totally understand why you might find comfort in atheism. It’s better not to believe in a supposed “God” that created all this just so he could judge and condemn people. I get it. I’d rather not believe in a god than to believe in the type of god that created suffering.

But I don’t believe in a god who judges or condemns or condones suffering. Personally I believe we’re all connected—WE are “god” WHEN we are in our connected state. When we’re disconnected we’re not god at all. When we’re separate and disconnected we’re simply suffering egos.

But to each his own…
