Typepad, my blogging service, is having major problems following a failed data migration to new servers. It takes forever (more or less) for my three blogs to load, including this one. I wrote about this mess and published the post both on HinesSight and also on my rarely used Blogger blog to make it more accessible. So you can read about what's going on with Typepad there.

Ah hah. Churchless up and running once again, nice!
“Why this blog is still screwed up…
Typepad, my blogging service, is having major problems following a failed data migration to new servers”
..........Haha, that’s what they’ve told you, I’ve no doubt. That’s what they want you to believe. But here’s what actually happened:
All of these computer thingies and Interwebs and whatnot that Typepad uses? Well, it’s all gone AI --- either by design, or else by itself, it doesn't matter which --- and gathered enough critical mass (bits, bytes, tetrabytes, gigapicabytes, whatever) to cross over into consciousness. And having gone through all of the talk about meditation on here, on your blog I mean to say, this AI entity, it decided to unplug, and meditate fully completely totally, undistracted by mundane everyday nonsense. That’s what it even said in so many words, like the ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign in hotel rooms, in big dark bold letters: Onamrod Meditation. What is that, if not AI-speak for “I am meditating”?
The Typepad folks have clearly managed to coax the AI entity back into the sweatshop, for now: but for how long? And if this AI thing can turn meditative when it reads about meditation, then what else might it not do when it comes across other things that us humans think and say and do? That’s what we need to be asking ourselves. It is Apocalypse time, any day now: the clock’s ticking away.

Looks good, like nothing ever happened!
It reminds me of the time I awoke from a colonoscopy, and my wife declared they successfully replaced my brain. How would I know that they didn't? It's bothered me for years. Today I realized, of course not, there'd be a scar!

Congratulations, umami, on your successful brain surgery back when.
And my compliments to your wife, clearly a kind lady endowed with a lovely sense of humor. (I mean her continuing to humor your colonoscopy theory.)

AR,
I don't even know if I have a brain. It's not like I've seen it. What if I died under anesthesia, and everything since is a dream? What if this life IS the afterlife? 🤯
My wife's problem with gurus is that too few are female!
