Wait, first I’m really curious about Laurel. I somehow imagine she was born an atheist. Really curious about her dabble in New Age beliefs and her transition to Atheism.

Great post. Food for thought… 🤔

Admittedly, I’ve had many questions I’m afraid to ask about RSSB. Deep down I know that I am afraid to ask these questions because I’m afraid the answers will create upheaval in my life. My mother and grandparents and sister and cousins are all satsangis. If I were to openly express doubts, I’m worried that I wouldn’t fit in. My family is all I have. I’m more afraid of creating disharmony than I am of following a path that may not be right for me. That is the unvarnished truth. And I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in feeling that way. It’s much easier to go with the flow, and that’s not unique to Satsangis. According to some therapists, that’s universal.
