Here's a new Open Thread.
Remember, off-topic comments should go in an Open Thread.
If you don't see a recent comment, or comments, posted, it might be because you've failed to follow the above rule. Keep to the subject of a blog post if you leave a comment on it. And if you want to use this blog as a "chat room," do that in an open thread.
As noted before, it's good to have comments in a regular blog post related to its subject, and it's also good to have a place where almost anything goes in regard to sharing ideas, feelings, experiences, and such. That place is an Open Thread.
Leave a comment on this post about anything you want to talk about. Personal attacks on someone are an exception, as is hate speech. Argue with ideas, not insults.
Though I haven't been doing too well on this, I'll try to remember to always have an Open Thread showing in the Recent Posts section in the right sidebar. If one isn't showing, I've added an Open Threads category in, naturally, the Categories section. You can always find an Open Thread that way.
So if you're a believer in some form of religion, mysticism, or spirituality, this is where you can put your "praise God," "praise Guru," or "praise _______" comments.
Nice Info, . . good worded

I don't know if I am over stepping here, but for those of you missing "the other side of the coin" of these discussions as I am,...our dear brother Spence is back from his well needed hibernation, atheistnbeliever.blogs.com. Yep, that would be you Appreciative Reader, Dungeness, Jim S., Zen Jen, our lost 777 (hope you are doing well), Um, and Brother Brianji, to name just a few. The discourses may have been annoying, maddening, flawed, a little one sided, tiresome, preachy, and maybe at times thought of as cynical. BUT, they were also fascinating, thought provoking, engaging, absorbing, interesting, compelling, and just plain FUN, even when only viewed from the side lines. No matter how flat the pancake, it always has two sides. And in the words of Oscar Wilde, "The pure and simple truth is rarely pure and never simple." So, what do you say, let's get this party started again. Again, apologies if I over stepped.

Consciousness theory slammed as ‘pseudoscience’ — sparking uproar...

"1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."
Genesis 5:1-2
Man was always male and female, as one, as They.
Adam was the true name of both male and female and every variation in one.. Humanity is Adam. They are Adam. They is the single individual original label for every human being as God made them.
The pronoun 'They' for the individual in whom male and female both in any balance resides, has precident right in the Holy Bible. It isn't a new invention. It is a recognition of a truth that also has Biblical support and history. Cultures could not understand this ancient teaching. Have we matured enough to finally understand today? And to accept?
