Since there's currently some comment discussion about whether the guru of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) is an authoritarian who believes he can do whatever he wants, being considered God in Human Form by devotees, here's links to some blog posts I've written about questionable activities during the reign of Gurinder Singh Dhillon, the current RSSB guru. There's more posts, but this is a good sample.
(I keep adding to the list as I think of additional blog posts I've written over the years that pertain to this subject.)

I wonder whether "yourself" is in the dark ages Brian? Does Gurinder call himself "God" in human form, or are you calling him as such? Now, after your 35 or so years as being a "Satsangi" in the past, you know full well what the "God" part means. An analogy afterall. In all of my listenings to Gurinder's teachings, he does not mince his words, and he tells it how it is. YOU are the Master. The SHABD ๐๐ถ sounds in all life. Some of us are just deaf and need to be awakened to hear - to learn how to listen. Why to you persist in demonising Gurinder? He must be helping many, many people, regardless. It is my opinion only, for I do not know you at all, but you appear to be under Maya's spell when it comes to everything Sant Mat, and you certainly have an undeniable karmic connection to Gurinder Singh Dhillon, now don't you? Surely you recognise the "emptiness" of it all, and perhaps one day you will become "enlightened" enough to detach from your attachment. Or maybe this is the way you are being pulled up! For the MASTER will pull you up by any means possible. RADHA SOAMI ๐งโโ๏ธ๐. ๐๐โจNimfa๐งโโ๏ธ

IF ....
If that is what you believe, are convinced of,
THAN ...
why do you speak up?
Why do YOU write here????
What is in it for YOU ?????
And ...
HOW, do YOU, know this to be true what you write here ???
Hearsay???

Un.
Actually, I have no idea. All phenomena are empty of innate existence and independence. Phenomena, including the notion of a self, are dependent upon causes and conditions in order to arise. What is it that puts it all into time and motion. The Higgs boson? Is this the energy we call the Shabd? I believe in the science of physics, but that changes all the time too, as further theories in quantum mechanics are understood. What I meant was, Brian has entangled himself with Gurinder. You vibrate in harmony with that which you are connected or attracted to. My understanding of the Tathagata Essence , the Shabd, etc within us all, is to manifest its true potential in all its radiance. The Gurus, the Masters, the Buddhas, the Popes, the spiritual teachers of the world, along with scientific discoveries, and philosophies all search for the same answers. As above, So below. You are what you eat. Whatever you attach to, you will resonate with. That's all.

Wow Nimfa, what you wrote I didn't expect and its is beyond my capacity of understanding and level of experience.
Being my experience bound to this level of reality, I have to satisfy myself with a cup of decent coffee.
If what you write is an expression of you daily experience of reality, please do stand before the mirror, fold your hands in reference and with a slight bow say hello on my behalve.
And many do eat pork meat daily and they do not turn into pigs .... :-))

Hi again Um
To be honest my daily experience is bowing to my true MASTERS ๐ป๐ปas their dedicated disciple, pandering to their every need with the utmost love and devotion.๐๐๐ค
Pigs and chooks eat their own faeces. ๐๐Then many humans eat them! ๐ฝ๏ธ๐

I have never wirhnessed such an miracle nor a master to bow before let alone in the plural ..masterS.
And Mimfa, for some to be labeled as devoted, successful etc disciples their must by necessity be "no good" disciples and losers too ....for the glory of the wise and the good there must be the opposite.
Again, if you belong to the first group, my respect is yours.

I don't quite get what you mean. I was talking about how my two dearest, most beautiful cats rule me absolutely. They are my intense daily focus - hence my MASTERS. To them I am a true disciple.๐๐ป๐ป๐งโโ๏ธ

Years, many, many years ago a friend having several [asian] cats we were sitting for what we thought to be meditation, Mostly the cats would appear and found their resting place in our laps, snorring like hell. One day, the jumped upon us angrily with outstretched paws ... since then i do noy consider them any more as holy ... hahaha

UM ( and Brian)
About God in Human Form. I know nothing at all, but at present my mind thinks this: If you genuinely feel bodhicitta ( which to my way of thinking translates to something more than compassion - something that there really is no true English word for) then you will see whatever your interpretation of God is , in every single living being. It is just something so wonderful beyond love, beyond words.

@ Nimfa
I know how to write ..compassion ... nothing more nothing less.
I also have an dictionary understanding of the concept but more than that there is not
I never use or used these type of words.
But .. i certainly do know a lot about anger; how it can rage in the body ... hahaha
What to say of something beyond compassion.
I figured out for myself, walking in the woods, that the only way to experience the essence of anything, by necessity would be in the human being, as he is already there.
The essence of other things cannot be seen due to the form in which it hides.
Walking further and pondering deeper, is realized that the essence of other things will become "visible" after realizing the proper human essence.
And at the end of the walk before ordering my cup of coffee, the idea did arise that on witnessing the essence of other things, they by necessity had to be the same as the human essence.
Then I had my coffee, a piece of apple pie and drove home again, and everything was still the same ... hahaha
So if that is what you talk about, being your experience I do bow deeply for you, so deep that if I would wear a turban, it would fall of my head.
Today I am stiil the same person I was born, like the crows that are born as crow, lice as crow and die as such without turning into [mysticall] swans.
I never searched for that essence, there is no pull inside me to do so. ... hahaha

Um,
Did you have whipped cream on your apple pie? ๐ฐ If so, did you think of the millions of bobby calves who are taken from their mothers a day or so after being born and taken to be slaughtered? ๐๐ฎAll so humans can eat cream and drink milk. The only species in the world who take milk after infancy.
I do not know whether cows are sacred still in your country, but they are exploited here and in other countries around the world. In my opinion bodhicitta ( look it up) begins with being a vegan wherever possible. A vegetarian at least. If one is really serious about generating, love and peace โฎ๏ธ and harmony, then what you eat and drink is a good place to begin. Killing animals for food , when we should know better, is an absolute disgrace.
So UM, enjoy your coffee and whatever you eat, but please give a thought to why our world is the state that it is in at present. Of nearly 8 billion people on the planet, almost 1 billion are malnourished. Much of the grain that humans could be eating is being fed to animals, those animals which in turn will be slaughtered for food. The millions of humans trying just to be, still go hungry. Plant based food is the future for humanity. The way towards developing love, peace and happiness.
You don't have to follow any religion, or spiritual path earnestly to love. In fact LOVE ๐should be everyone's reason. Isn't it most strange, how difficult that reason is to manifest in the entire group consciuosness of humans on our beautiful planet?๐
No more here from me. Bye, have fun, ๐and โฎ๏ธ peace, love๐ and good health โ๏ธ๐ฅdear UM. Oh and live long and prosper. โจ๐

Just one final thought about God in Human Form. If belonging to RSSB creates one precept in thought and action, that being a vegetarian or better still a vegan, then what a very positive outcome. Everything else aside, it is about being very human.
It is my belief Mahaja Charan Singh (who gave me my empowerment to my self initiation in mastery over what I deem to be my "self" - note the duality here, so can't exist in reality - in 1989 at the Dera) designated Gurinder Singh Dhillon to be the patron of RSSB because he had a good business head. Now maybe Gurinder made some bad business decisions, I don't know, but who else was there at the time to take the helm?
The basic principles or precepts of Sant Mat remain sound to this day.
.
1. Non killing. So a vegetarian (or better still now there are more options) or vegan diet .
2. No drugs or alcohol , for obvious reasons.
3. A kind and moral , ethical way of living. ( Maybe Gurinder did fall a bit short here, only he knows the true situation, but perhaps his intentions were all for the betterment of the Dera)..
4. Daily meditation. You should remain in mindful awareness every second of every day. Difficult as this may be.
So, pray tell me, what is so wrong with the above precepts if they make us all better human beings.
YOU CONTROL YOUR OW.N LIFE. NOBODY ELSE.
Some folk just need an outside entity or being , teacher, guru , books, blog, etc to help them on their way. It is good to share. That is how we learn.
Funny how the entire world has been so easily brainwashed with this covid crock, and now monkey pox rubbish, yet when it comes to loving, well that is an entirely different matter.
So breathe in your own CO2, behind your mask, believe the scaremongering of the manmuk (?) controllers in the world, let them dominate your actions, if you will. I for one am the true MASTER of me, and IT IS I WHO DECIDE ABOUT HOW I LIVE MY LIFE. Science, Buddhism, Theosophy and Sant Mat all say the same thing. It is just expressed differntly. You take on what you will according to your scope of understanding, beyond belief. It is logic and proof of experience that reveal your answers.
We all die. Why are people so afraid of this fact?
So why not just let Gurinder be, because who really cares, if thousands of people are benefitting . If some were wronged financially, then it is for the judicial system to sort out.

Had I not read the entree of the blog owner ... i certainly would have answered you... with an "funny" anecdote about a high ranking Tibetan monk that ate meat, meat prepared by me ... hahaha
Otherwise ... until now it has been my practice NOT to vent any opinion an any teacher or teaching and if it seems otherwise, it is always related to behaviour in the public domain.
If you can and do live up to the things you have put on the table of this inn ... you deserve all respect......with folded hands, Um

"..about whether the guru of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB) is an authoritarian .. ..I've written about questionable activities during the reign of Gurinder Singh Dhillon, the current RSSB guru.."
In my opinion, I don't believe Gurinder Singh Dhillon is 'an authoritarian' as you promise.
No, not at all as everyone is entitled to their opinion.
