Some thoughts about Shivinder Singh and his wife

Here's a message someone sent to me about Shivinder Singh, the brother of Malvinder Singh and a relative of Gurinder Singh -- the guru of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, a religious organization based in India. Charan Singh was the previous guru of Radha Soami Satsang Beas.

There was a recent article in India Today that describes how Shivinder Singh’s wife was conned out of 215 crore rupees by a man who posed as a high government official. He told her he could spring her husband from jail where he has been in custody for a quite a while. This brings forward quite a few questions. 

If she is the daughter-in-law of God in Human Form, why would she bribe a government official when God is her father-in-law? If she thought she was bribing a government official, shouldn’t she also be in jail? Last I heard, this is illegal in India. 

215 crore is around 30 million dollars. That would certainly be a good faith gesture for paying off the debt that landed Shivinder in jail in the first place. He told the courts he would cooperate and pay his debts but it looks like he is hiding his cash. I imagine the courts took notice of this and are wondering where the rest of the loot is.  

If we are supposed to obey the laws of our country, why is he hiding his money rather than doing what he promised when initiated into the Radha Soami faith? 

He is Charan Singh’s grandson and was raised by Charan Singh’s daughter. The entire family had the great boon of the “company of the saints” yet raised two crooks whose greed knows no bounds. Charan Singh used to say if you put a good man with a gang of thieves he will soon become a thief himself. Did all of this start when they came under the influence of their guru and mentor, Gurinder Singh?

I am not sure what happened here because I still have a lot of faith in Charan Singh’s  good character and spiritual attainment. I guess I don’t have any choice but to live with the cognitive dissonance. 

Next time I will look for a guru like Bhagat Singh though, I expect it will take some time to recover.

I'll say this much: it remains curious to me why Shivinder is in prison for theft of millions of dollars, and yet his wife still has access to millions of dollars. I'd have presumed the courts would decree that Shivinder's assets were tied to that of his spouse and have taken that money to give back to the wronged parties, but then again, who knows how things work in Indian family finances.

I'm just very glad I live in the good old USA, as long as it lasts anyway.

Some one accepted an great gift and in the wake had a lot of problems to deal with.
Discussing the matter with me, I asked him why he accepted the gift. at all.
Puzzled he asked me what he otherwise should or could have done.

Who to this day lives of the brothers millions and provides the millions to his two sons so they can also live a lavish luxurious lifestyle of the brothers millions.

All the time Gurinder has been ducking and diving from the Supreme Courts in Delhi trying to hide his Financial papers because he knows the games up.

What a disgrace and embarrassment not only to his own family but to the world Gurinder Singh Dhillion is.

Someone who tries to bribe a government official is a criminal. It is irrelevant if the government official was a conman. The intent is what counts. She is both a sucker and a criminal. That just shows you can be rich, stupid, and a criminal all at the same time.

I would like to know if he is even Good in Human Form. Lately, I don't see much evidence. He is not only acting like a money and power addict, but a land and property addict as well. He buys property just to keep it empty. He probably needs a good 12 step program.

Alright, having such an belief, might be the cause of the preoccupation.

That being the case,do not focus on other things but that belief, not even on guru's, what they are and do, as it will distract one from finding what was behind that belief.

Before we leave a bookshop with a book in our hands, we FIRST must have left our house, we FIRST have had the intention to enter THAT particular shop and in that shop we FIRST had the intention to look at titles etc etc then we bought the book for our own reasons. The book didn't do anything at all. I don't know why there is so much speculation about this. Someone needs to go to the office of public statistics and look at her death certificate. The cause of death will be listed. The coroner should have information on the surgeon who did the surgery and the name of the doctor who pronounced her dead should also be there. You can take this investigation as far as you want to.
