Wow. Big news regarding the Singh brothers/Dhillon family financial scandal drama.
After being ordered by the High Court of Delhi to appear before it on November 14, along with other parties involved in what appears to be fraudulent transfers of funds that now prevent the Singh brothers from having enough money to pay an award related to their sale of a pharmaceutical firm, the family of Gurinder Singh Dhillon, guru of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, has made up some marvelously unbelievable excuses for not being able to make the court hearing.
This is more evidence that Dhillon and his family have done something wrong.
Innocent people welcome the opportunity to tell their side of a story in court. Guilty people don't. Hopefully the court will look at the Dhillon family excuses with a highly skeptical eye, because those excuses make very little sense.
Here's two stories from the Indian financial press about this development. This is a Business Today story.
Download Daiichi case: 6 days to deadline RSSB chief Dhillon & family back off from court appearance
Six days before their scheduled hearing in the Delhi High Court in the Daiichi Sankyo case, the Gurinder Singh Dhillon family has backed off from personal appearance in court citing reasons ranging from "surgeries" abroad to "satsang commitments".
The court had asked RSSB chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon and his family members, former Religare promoters Shivinder Singh and Malvinder Singh, former Religare chief Sunil Godhwani and his brother Sanjay Godhwani to be present at the court hearing on November 14. They were also asked to come up with all the required documents relating to the dealings.
While Gurinder Singh Dhillon said he had "satsang commitments" outside Delhi on the hearing day, his wife Shabnam Dhillon cited a scheduled gastric surgery at a UK hospital on November 20, saying she needed to travel to the country on November 12.
Indicating his inability to be present in court, Gurinder Singh also said he's "senior citizen, diabetic and cancer patient". Dhillon's son Gurkeerat said he had to accompany his mother to the UK for the treatment. His elder son Gurpreet said he's in Singapore. Dhillon's daughter-in-law Nayan Tara Dhillon cited her four-year-old son's hip implant treatment for her inability to be present in the court.
Interestingly, RSSB's Satsang schedule on its website shows no Satsang has been planned on November 14. The Rudrapur Satsang, which begins on November 12, ends on November 13. The question now is whether there are already any lookout notices against the Dhillon family and other 55 garnishees. And whether the court would prevent any of them from travelling abroad -- fearing escape.
Daiichi had earlier enforced an arbitration order in Singapore that ordered the brothers to pay Daiichi $500 million towards alleged non-disclosure of crucial information during the sale of Ranbaxy Laboratories to Daiichi in 2008. Expanding the scope of people from whom the money could be recovered, the court in June had named 56 entities, including Dhillon, his wife Shabnam Dhillon and other family members, and Godhwanis, and ordered them to pay up Rs 6,373 crore worth of dues to Singh brothers so that they could honour the $500 million order to pay Daiichi.
On March 12, BusinessToday. In reported that Singh brothers could only pay the $500 million order against them to compensate Daiichi, provided the money owed to them by RSSB chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon and his family was recovered. In his submission, Malvinder had maintained that he could pay Daiichi provided he recovered the money owed to him.
Besides the Dhillon family, the Delhi HC had also issued 'garnishee orders' -- an order that's issued against a third party to recover money to settle a debt or dues -- against 55 entities, including Dhillon and RSSB associates' companies, including Prius Real Estate, Addon Realty, Payne Realtors SGGD Projects, Luminous Holding.
BusinessToday. In had also reported the flow of money that went from Singh brothers to entities owned and controlled by Gurinder Singh Dhillon, his family and RSSB associates. RoC filings and terms sheets had revealed that between 2011 and 2014, Rs 1,107.5 crore from the Rs 9,576 crore sale proceeds of Ranbaxy to Daiichi Sankyo was paid through various RHC group firms. Thereafter, this money was transferred to Prius Real Estate Private Limited controlled by Dhillon family associates and RSSB functionaries through optionally convertible debentures (OCD).
And here's an Economic Times story.
Radha Soami Satsang chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon along with his family members have cited various reasons seeking exemption from appearing before the Delhi High court on November 14.
The Dhillons in their Interim applications (IAs) filed before the court expressed their inability to appear before the court on the next date of hearing. While RSSB chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon has said that he has satsang commitments outside Delhi on that date and also he is a senior citizen, diabetic and cancer patient, hence he will be unable to appear before the court.
His wife, Shabnam Dhillon has said that she cannot appear due to a scheduled surgery in a hospital in UK on November 20 for which she needs to travel on November 12. Their son Gurkirat has said that he has to accompany his mother for the treatment.
While their second son Gurpreet Dhillon has expressed that he is in Singapore and has “critical work commitments” and is required to be personally present. His wife Nayan Tara on the other hand said that she cannot appear due to her four year old son’s medical condition, which needs "continuous care and attention”.
The court had in October ordered Dhillon along with his wife Shabnam, sons Gurkirat and Gurpreet and daughter in law Nayan Tara to personally present in the court on November 14, after Dhillon and his family members had said that they did not owe any money to RHC Holding Pvt Ltd, promoted by Malvinder and Shivinder Singh, following the court’s direction to deposit the amount owed to RHC holdings pvt Ltd in connection with the execution of Rs 3500 crore arbitration award won by Japanese form Daiichi Sankyo against former RanbaxyNSE 5.63 % promoters.
In his plea Dhillon had told the court that RHC Holding has made false claims and they did not owe any money to RHC Holdings Pvt Ltd. The court in its order then asked the Dhillons to “remain present in the court with relevant documents related to their dealings and transactions with the garnishees and their related companies.
The Dhillons are among 55 individuals and entities ordered by the court to pay over Rs 6000 crore owed to RHC holding in connection with the settlement of a dispute to Daiichi Sankyo’s acquisition of Ranbaxy laboratories.
The court while hearing the applications on Friday asked the garnishees to furnish their documents before the court. The requirement to appear before the court still looms as the court will take up the matter on November 14.
Justice JR Midha in his earlier order had also stated that these entities cannot “dispose of, alienate, encumber directly or indirectly, part with the possession of any assets, except in the ordinary course of business like payment of salary and statutory dues, till the next date of hearing.”
According to an affidavit filed by RHC Holding in April, entities including those controlled by the RSSB chief, his family and close associates, owed over Rs 6,000 crore to the company and other group entities of the Singh brothers. Malvinder Singh, one of the directors of RHC, had maintained that payment of an arbitration award related to Daiichi Sankyo’s acquisition of Ranbaxy could be made only if the money owed was recovered.
Leave a comment on this post if you want to share your opinion about the Dhillon family excuses for not being able to come to the November 14 court hearing. These are my takes on the excuses.
Gurinder Singh Dhillon. RSSB satsang schedule shows no meetings on the 14th. And somehow the senior citizen guru can travel all over the world giving talks to RSSB devotees, but is unable to go to a court appearance in Delhi. Highly unbelievable.
Shabnam Dhillon. The guru's wife just realizes she has surgery scheduled for November 20 in the UK that she has to leave eight days early for. Must take days to check into the clinic or hospital. Highly unbelievable.
Gurpreet Dhillon. The guru's son has "critical work commitments." However, the November 14 court appearance has been scheduled for quite a while, over a month I recall. Somehow Gurpreet can't do his critical work either before or after the 14th? Highly unbelievable.
Naya Tara Dhillon. I accept that her child has a medical condition. But I can't believe that a wealthy Indian family can't find anyone to care for the child during the short time needed to attend a court hearing. Highly unbelievable.
UPDATE: A commenter sent a link to a Times of India story that appeared in a newsreader. I wasn't able to find the story on the Times of India web site, but here's screenshots of the link. Looks like Gurinder Singh Dhillon and his family don't have to attend the November 14 hearing, though they have to provide documents and be available by phone.
Gurinder Singh is fond of saying, “How do you know I am not a fraud?” The very first time I heard that utterance attributed to him I knew he was a fraud.
Now we have a guru who is so weak (cancer victim, diabetic... and don’t forget a “senior citzen”) that he cannot show up to a court hearing because of Satsang commitments?
Time to man up Gugu!!!

Yer another surprise by Grand Baba jee - pushing lids on an already unwelcome mystery. May Court pull curtains on a saga that has already outstretched beyond its time limits.
Yet God knows God's ways.
But its not crunchy at all!

This is often how India works. Even if they're technically jailed, they won't be in jail anyway so I'm not sure why they're worried.
When the rich are "jailed" in India they generally leave for weeks or months at a time for the same reasons this religious crime family are citing for their court absence.
"My family needs me" is reason enough to be released. Wasn't it the owner of Haldiram's who was convicted of hiring hitmen to kill a chaiwalla but evaded actually going to jail by saying his employees loved and needed him?
I guess it's not unheard of in USA either. Jeffery Epstein was allowed underage women to visit him at his office after being "jailed" for the whole pedo thing. But he's from a special background of people who are uniquely oppressed lol. If oppression means being the richest demographic and not doing time for crimes, please oppress me.
Posted by: Jesse | November 08, 2019 at 11:00 AM
They are obviously all lying and trying to hide. You only have to look at Ranbaxy to see the lies and tactics employed. It's a repeat performance of the same pattern. Fractals!
They will just have to arrest them like they had to arrest Malvinder.
With all that wealth and endless extended family members to hold the fort, there is no problem attending Court for one day.
As for Gurinder, so hale and hearty when I saw him last year and so full of energy and vigour, if there was an ounce of truth in his excuse that he is too old and ill, how come he can jet around the world and give satsang plus run the entire organisation of RSSB not to mention all his shady business rip offs? It wouldn't be possible. He would have had to resign ages ago.
I also have to resend the Ranbaxy facts for anyone with the slightest doubt that Gurinder is innocent and did not knowingly receive blood money from Ranbaxy's ill gotten profits. To follow.....
Posted by: Maria de La Torre | November 08, 2019 at 11:05 AM
Blood money. No doubt about it. How many people did Ranbaxy kill with it's fake drugs? It took a whistleblower to risk his life to expose the whole rotten business.
Gurinder received the profits from this blood money. The truth may be bitter but is always preferable to lies and deceit.

The Unz article posted by Maria de La Torre makes a remark in passing about the use of executions in China. People forget that "the West" used execution much more liberally in the past, and much of our general social docility and order are benefits that provided by physically removing evil actors from the play.
It's easy for us who are beneficiaries of past executions to act all moral because we already gained from that action. Preventing other countries from removing evil from their societies is evil in itself.
India should learn from our distant past as well as China's present and begin taking control of their problems at the genetic level.

Woweee
What a load of tosh.
Is there any Satsangi who can still believe the Baba is indeed a Perfect Living Master.
He is too old. A diabetic. A cancer patient. Too unwell to attend court. Yet well enough for Satsangs.
Neon nailed it. It’s fucking hilarious

While the excuses seem weak, these were the product of a lot of conversations among very smart people. But if we had been a fly on the wall, what other candidates might we have heard?
My new nail polish takes forever to dry!
Every time we drive that car bugs get run over, so I don't mind flying all over the globe, but driving kills too many of God's insect kingdom.
I just can't get this damn turban on right. Ever since we stopped home weaving it just doesn't tuck right... And this year's cotton crop sucks.... So I'm not going anywhere where I need to look good in my turban.
I'm trying to balance my check book and honestly, it's the right thing to do but I'm stumped. I don't think we can make a good case if I can't this checkbook in order! They'll just have to wait!
Whenever we get the family together it doesn't go well... So can we schedule separate dates? Yah I know this is the high court but I'm the fuckin Guru! Doesn't that mean anything anymore? You know there was a time when it meant something.
Baba Ji, I just had a call with Modi and he's a little upset. You know the whole "In the guy that's gonna clean up politics and business!" whole thing. He does appreciate the Porsche and the dancing girls BTW, but he's asking if you can just disappear for a year or two.... He says he thinks he can stretch this out and everyone will forget about it the way they always do.... Just lay low.... Like normal.

"While the excuses seem weak, these were the product of a lot of conversations among very smart people"
Spence, I think the smart convos that got the whole family off the hook happened behind the scenes and are mostly unrelated.
The public excuses are just a nice "f*** you loser poors" statement for the media to share with us on the family's behalf.
Posted by: Jesse | November 08, 2019 at 10:05 PM
Wow a great way to hold and make them feel wrong. I would say let's just wait and see how it goes. Obviously haters are always there and so are lovers. We like vultures would always love to prey on things that we think are easy to grab just by words. Well it's a great way to show our beings what we are. I would say circumstances now are not at all favourable and every is made to look indeed in a way. Time would show us ahat exactly truth is. As an article says the presence might not be needed but looks like we are too early to judge. That's what we are.

Just when one thought this fiasco couldn’t get anymore ridiculous, it just did!
If someone had made false accusations against me, I would be absolutely champing at the bit to get to court and challenge these allegations and have my name cleared. Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone feeling any different!?!?
However, if I was guilty of something, I may well look to “dither and delay” (BoJo) such proceedings. Why are the whole Dodgy Dhillon family making up such pathetic excuses to delay the opportunity to clear their (increasingly) soiled names?
Actions speak louder than words!
Whilst The Bombastic Billionaire Baba can delay these proceedings, he won’t have any chance of playing such tedious games with the RHC/Malvinder/Shivinder criminal investigation. With the crooked brothers remaining in custody, surely, as per the many, many reports, it’s only a matter of time before the poor old Baba is detained

Posted by: Kanika | November 08, 2019 at 11:36 PM
cocky me, if you think this is the end of the Singh brothers/RSSB guru fraud drama, almost certainly you're wrong. The guru and his family still have to provide documents to the High Court. Their attorneys still have to address the issues. The Dhillon family still has to answer questions by phone if necessary.
Nothing really has changed, except the guru and his family don't have to be physically present at the High Court hearing. Well, this has changed. We now know that Gurinder Singh Dhillon isn't interested in personally setting the record straight about the money he and his family received, which would have been the honest thing to do.
Posted by: Brian Hines | November 08, 2019 at 11:46 PM
Hi Kanika
You asked
" I request you all to plz stop commenting negative ..."
I don't think you understand. Most of the negative comments come from folks who are initiates. Folks who had been given promises. Folks who looked to the Master as evidence that talking the high road, however difficult, was always the best path. Folks who trusted the Master and who had invested a good portion of their lives in devotion to the Master.
Now it appears the Master is not boldly and honestly defending himself in a way we can all respect.
Rather, it appears he is avoiding responsibility.
Naturally, it is the ones who love the Master who are most disappointed. And angered.
But each expresses that disappointment in different ways.
Some may go more deeply into meditation. Others will speak out about the apparent hypocrisy. Some will try to make a lighthearted joke. Some will feel bitterly betrayed by Baba Ji's behavior, which appears dishonest and cowardly.
But of course we are all waiting to learn more about the evidence, to see how this develops.
Posted by: Spence Tepper | November 09, 2019 at 12:27 AM
Even knowing where this is going, it is awful to watch. Painful. painful. Why Baba Ji? The past is the past. But why behave this way today?
And yet, it is inevitable. The decisions made day in and day out, the choices, they become us.
This is why I avoid tragedies. Knowing the story, knowing the conclusion, having seen the film, actually makes watching it more painful moment by moment, even more excruciating. Because there actually is no hope for a different ending.
We have to keep telling ourselves we can be wrong every moment of every day just to tolerate it.

The guru is the lord of the universe. He does not care for court dates and mere human laws.
One wave of his hand the entire universe will collapse into a tiny blob of mud.
Who has the power to summon the lord of the universe?
If they dare to arrest him he will use his special powers to set fire to the Hugh court. The guru is higher than god and can comes to earth with full power to do what he chooses.
Those who consider him a mere mortal are blind.
Long live baba ji

Kanika, with all due respect to your faith, a Guru worthy of the title is first and foremost honest, he does not acquire financial benefit from fraud and the selling of dangerous fake drugs that are a risk to life to make his money. If you can't accept that Gurinder and Company are all frauds and liars all I can say is that you haven't researched the hard cold facts.
When Sai Baba was caught red handed sexually molesting young boy disciples, his die hard followers absolved him by saying he was relieving them of their negative karma. If anyone believes that, they will believe the Moon is made of cream cheese.
Be very, very careful who you trust, especially, when it comes to a spiritual leader. A Saint is never interested in material wealth to start with, do you seriously think Jesus would have made himself a billionaire and ran around in a private jet and flashy cars? Kanika! Wake up, darling, you have been hoodwinked.
Posted by: Maria De La Torre | November 09, 2019 at 12:45 AM
The baba has paid off some top politicians who will tell the judge to accept the excuses, in return for a handsome payout. The judge will accept and announce they are excused from attendance.
The baba buys more time and will eventually make another plan to escape. As long as he keeps on paying off politicians, the courts will find a reason to let him escape.
Everyone is happy as long as you give them a nice bribe. They also have a family to look after that is more important than justice. Welcome to Indian corruption and politics. One law for the poor and another for the rich. Money opens doors. Watch and learn
Of course eventually there will be a judge who refuses to play, as in the Ram Raheem case. Until then bribery will work. Just how India works. Corruption is deep rooted.

The Billionaire Baba and His babbling brood look like getting caught
But hold on to your hat they are unable to attend court
With a simple flick of his holy wrist
The whole family suddenly fell sick
Or were tied up in some business tryst
Chicanery like the Beas River trick
Misdirection or sub diversion
Thwarting justice legal perversion
Such a thing from a Holy person
That owes nobody nothing
The final chapter to be revealed
So far only one has squealed
To set in motion justice wheels
And a falling out that never heals
As I have said before
The billionaire Baba will escape the law
He will walk or hobble
Not talk or nobble
A judge or jury

Hines,
Thank you for your precious words of advice. Much appreciated despite most of what you say is pretty much the obvious. Wasn't lost on me upfront.
Actually your followers in here need to make note of what you said. If only they were made aware upfront of the courts decision as well, a few may have kept their fingers in check. Honestly I had a good laugh reading most of the posts (one noteable exception being Jesse's post) after having already read the ToI report about the exemption.
Now, perhaps you need to recognise a few realities in this instance
1) you have no shred to now know that GSD isn't interested in 'personally' setting the record straight. Unless you claim he called you and told you this, it is just your unsubstantiated biased opinion. Like you said nothing has changed just because he has been exempted from personally appearing for the 14th hearing.
2) that GSD has in writing assured the Court of his cooperation through his appointed advocates. And the Court has had NO REASON to suspect any mala fide intentions. I know how courts/judges in India react to similar pleas where they doubt intentions or find cited reasons frivolous.
3) with the matter already before the court, it's for the court now to set ALL RECORDS STRAIGHT.
4) the option of an ex-parte court order probably exists and nothing will stop the judge from passing one if required. GSD probably isn't a fool to let this happen. So expect him to be present when it is really required!!! But what's certain is that either you, me, or anybody else in here does not decide this bit.
5) For this upcoming hearing the Judge has agreed (for probably it makes sense) to first go through the submissions and then decide on the need of physical presence.
6) Between you, the baiters in here and the Judge -------> the judge's opinion/view on the plea, is the one which is not only the most credible but also impartial and that which matters.
PS: You should advice your followers not get get riled so easily. The wise wait and watch quietly as the saga unfolds and the foolish rant away at anything and everything.
Cheers,

Judge seems to be a holy human accepting priority of Baba jee's spiritual programmes.
Perhaps all of 55 may have been exempted.
It sniffs of some undue pressure which is not strange in Indian context who are mostly hand in glove with the mighty and those close to ruling class especially.
Wish an early closure.

Dear satsangis,
Pls pls don’t believe the lying media about our guru being a "senior citizen, diabetic and cancer patient and has Satsang commitments” and that not only HE but HIS whole family is busy busy busy very very busy
This is kal speaking through media and lawyers. Our guru has the capacity to take millions of satsangis straight to heaven
He can manifest time, money, property, cars, planes , stocks and shares and overseas business oops Satsang trips whenever needed
This is a test and don’t fail
Increase your trust in the almighty guru by 156.74 % and rest assured you will be rewarded in heaven
Close your eyes to the media and focus on the bells and whistles within and don’t forget to do free sewa at the nearest Satsang center.
This helps us to keep cost of running our business to zero

"Gurinder Singh Dhillon. RSSB satsang schedule shows no meetings on the 14th. " -- there is usually one full day of initiation following the local / regional satsangs in India, so that might actually be true. I am not a sevadar but I think my assumption is likely correct. But this wasn't about dates -- they could be given another date but that wouldn't have changed the fact that he is a senior citizen, diabetic and cancer patient. The lawyer representing the Dhillons could have come up with something a little less frolicsome.
As for the others in the family, those excuses are so childish it's just funny, and kind of frustrating too. After all this, a no show?
I really hope Nayan Tara's little child is not that critical that she can't leave him alone for one day. If I was a mother, I wouldn't use my little child as an excuse for anything at all or let the lawyers make such a statement. Hell, if I was clean, I'd be so pissed off I'd wait for the day of hearing, be at the court and prove my innocence, and I ain't no saint or a child of the 'Guru Ghar'. It's just something a clean person would do.
Anyway, the family has been exempted from appearing in court. We'll see what follows.
So basically, couple weeks from now we'd all drive to good ole Bhati Mines for the Delhi satsang and everything's going to sound normal. Last time at the Delhi satsang, Babaji said - dont go round chasing money, we're always trying to accumulate way more than we need. Even if it's proven, thanks to the country's jaded systems, that all the wealth the Dhillon family, obviously led by Babaji, has amassed in in fact legit and not at all fraudulent, that's still a heck of a lot of money, especially when we shouldn't be chasing it, like he said.

You are finished
Are you from India?
If not, I dare you to come to India and use an Indian ip address to allude corruption and/or government interference within HC and SC.
Btw what was the bribe handed out to the 5 SC judges who ruled in favour of the Ram Mandir earlier today?????
After all corruption is deep rooted even in Indian judiciary. That's how India works. Right!!!
Modi must have surely greased their palms to have a verdict favouring their manifesto.
Your post is crap!!!!!

Thank you Brian, for having to take all the flack (as usual) for posting your pertinent observations and pointing out the invalid excuses given, apart from the baby, that granted exemption to Gurinder and Co from attending the Court hearing.
I too, like others have my suspicions that because politics and big money are involved, people are being swayed behind the scenes.
Look at Prince Andrew and Buckingham Palace denying everything. Money and power move many wheels in the opposite direction to the truth. The people who have the evidence are all under threat of death and there is most definitely detailed evidence, Epstein's self defence was always blackmail, he made sure he had enough secret film and recordings to cover himself in the event of any threat. That is precisely why he was murdered.
They are trying to kill Assange for telling the truth too.

Supreme Court ruled few years back (when Modi was not in power) that Sri Ram was a fictious character. Those judges were then being fed by a secular government .
Supreme court judges these days are being fed by Modi Government now backed by extremist Hindu RSS.

"cocky me" is living in a fantasy land. I'd hate to have to lie to myself so much just to get through life.
Read the list of excuses that the whole family presented, guy. They're comically absurd.

Jesse
I don't give a damn about the cited reasons for my opinion doesn't matter and the only fact I see which has to be dealt with is that the Judge hasn't dismissed the plea whatever the reasons of the plea may have been. What's also certain is that the Judge gives a f*** about the opinion of a bunch of ranters in here. So very unfortunate isn't it Jesse?
I live in a fantasy land. Do I? Please wake me up to the reality of the latest development. What is it - this judge is corrupt and so has been bribed that he allows GSD exemption even though the reasons are comically absurd . The judge has no fears about any scrutiny of his act by his superiors right up to the CJI, Law Minister, Modi himself and the media of course. After all corruption is so brazen. Everybody right up to the PM is corrupt. And that GSD writ runs over everyone in India. Also that the bribers are a bunch of idiots that they strike a pay off for such a trivial matter when a pay off for a quick fix and release could have been struck right away.
Thank you for this enlightenment. Eternally grateful to you Jesse, the bunch of legal luminaries and other enlightened individuals in here. I ahope its dawned on all of you the pitiable end state you would all be in as a consequence of this corrupt judge. I suggest you all sign a petition demanding the Judge be changed.
Enough said. I have to stop and post lest I die laughing.
But guys keep posting your anti GSD/RSSB ranting. It not only keeps the blog alive but might also enlighten some idiots like me.
Good day to you Jesse

"I dare you to come to India and use an Indian ip address to allude corruption and/or government interference within HC and SC."
The funny thing is that your "dare" sounds like a threat. The sort of threat common to corrupt people. Similar to the anti 1st amendment US politician Dan Crenshaw yesterday telling students that they'll regret asking questions about Israel.
Indians call the courts corrupt all the time. It's one of the central political talking points. Criticizing corruption at all levels and in every institution is all over Indian websites.
What are you talking about, Hail? Are you trolling?
As for cocky, you seem to think democracies are run with iron fists and that there are clear delineations of power and subordination that are strictly adhered to. You'd be wrong. You're probably wrong about most things.
Corruption is real, my dude. You don't know what's going on behind the scenes and neither do I. But if you think that every single family member just happens to have super important engagements all on the same day and that there judge actually believes that, you have no business talking to people. Keep your thoughts to yourself. Share pics of your boring vacation on Facebook.

If that's true, he's also receiving extra favors from the government, or he's breaking Indian law assuming he has an Indian passport as well.
India doesn't allow dual citizenship. Indians who renounce their citizenship can become OCI card holders, but can't be citizens of multiple countries.
Posted by: Jesse | November 09, 2019 at 11:00 AM
Wow Cocky me, get a tiny grip.
It be what it be.
It is just respectful that the judge ascedes to this request to postpone appearing. What is important is the information. Which order not only stands, but has been moved up from November 14 to now. Gurinder is not on trial. None of the 55 are. This is Shivinder et al's case, and the garnishee orders only exist as part of that case.
The judge's order for information serves two purposes. To gather information necessary in the prosecution of Shivender et al, and only secondarily, to aid in Gurinder's defense. It is under the guise of the second that the court actually sees an opportunity to gain important information for the first, the prosecution in a criminal fraud case against Shivinder et al.
The data that exonerates Gurinder also condemns Shivinder et al.
It's like the case of Solomon. Cutting the baby in half. This is the last thing even a good hearted Gurinder would want to do.
So it can be seen from both perspectives.
What appears in one view as Gurinder's cowardice, might just be reluctance to condemn Shivinder, Malvinder, Suni et al. Because he would have the bank deposits and withdrawals, or evidence that no such transfers actually took place. And that would be the evidence to throw Shivender et al in jail for a little while.
All that Gurinder would need to submit are bank statements, certified by the banks and accounts referenced in the loan documents, that the money the loan documents claim went into his accounts actually didn't. That there were no such deposits on the indicated dates from those companies.
This would also help explain Gurinder's letter about the assets. That Malvinder should return the assets to him if Malvinder doesn't wish to settle the manner as agreed.
In otherwords, once Gurinder found out he was being used, he offered to Mal and Shiv a couple of options privately.
We don't know.
It really could go either way. But I'm beginning to get another view.

To buy even an inch of agriculture land in india rules are (1) Person must be a resident of India (2) Must be a farmer by occupation(3)Maximum holding per person is 10 acres of agriculture land.(4)Even non-resident Indians with Indian passports can not buy agriculture land in India.Lot of indians living abroad with foreign passports have managed to buy agriculture land by bribing registry officials but these days are being prosecuted for breaking the agriculture land laws.

You must be an idiot if you can’t see how it all works.
India has always been corrupt. Money buys everything. The Baba has connections for obvious reasons.
Charan Singh never bothered about politicians because he had no need of them. I heard once Indra Gandhi came to visit Beas and the sevadars came running to tell him. He just said to offer her some tea and biscuits and he will come shortly. He also announced that followers should vote as they choose and not get influenced.
The baba associates with Badal and those with influence.
Malvinder Singh already started that the Baba will pay bribes and possibly escape justice.
The Baba is guilty but has money so will attempt to use bribery which may work but eventually he may get caught out

This is like a gossip column, should be called "The Church of the Angry Old Men". Grumpy old men complaining and whinging about the guru. Sounds like jealousy to me.
As a Charan initiate and having moved on for many years now it amazes me how people just simply can't let go and live their own lives without this gleeful fault finding. Quite sad and pathetic actually.
We were fooled and isn't it time to take responsibility for our own mistakes. But no, you all have to find fault and whinge and carry on like grumpy old men. Sounds like jealousy, you all are wanna be gurus, pathetic to say the least!

Probably there is no answer.

Hi Um
We have a similar saying. If you lay down with dogs, you will get up with fleas.
Jen
It's not difficult to understand. Those who love Baba Ji will be the most angry at evidence they can't dismiss. Because we do not let go. Because we want him to be vindicated, even in the midst of so much evidence to the contrary. It just makes us more disappointed because we must also, as part of the same character, acknowledge the facts.
Perhaps you have accepted that Baba Ji, or possibly Charan as well, are not only human, but dishonest. But those of us who cannot accept that, but are committed to truth, are naturally angry. We won't be getting over it so long as we can't actually accept it.
Where there is love, there is anger. Where there is no love, yes, indifference comes easily enough. Allow others their process as you do yourself.

"Sounds like jealousy to me."
Something negative maybe, but certainly not jealousy. I would never want to be a billionaire who has to be in airplanes non stop, and who spends his whole life in the company of other money hungry people and crowds of desperate people.
If you were to ask me, I'd tell you that I think Gurinder wasted his entire life. He's a total and complete loser at every level. Even as far as rich people are concerned, he's pretty much a nobody. No fame. No true respect. Held onto a religious title too long and his kids are now loser pariahs too.
He'll be remembered for destroying RSSB and being a boring rich guy with an uncultured family who never did anything interesting, never had an original thought, and never made a wise decision.
Gurinder Singh Dhillon exists to serve as an example of what not to be, and how not to live a life.

"As a Charan initiate and having moved on for many years now it amazes me how people just simply can't let go and live their own lives without this gleeful fault finding. Quite sad and pathetic actually. We were fooled..."
Say Jen, how did you happen to discover you were fooled by Charan, Gurinder, and RSSB?
Did you read something on the internet, or speak an ex-satsangi? And they gave you info about this religion that you didn't know about, couldn't have known about from RSSB?
If so, then why would you complain that exsatsangis are still trying to help people move on, as you moved on?
The "stop complaining" argument makes no sense to me. Are media outlets and university history departments just bitter complainers who should accept that crime happens and keep silent about it? Of course not. The people contributing to this forum have the same moral right to give their opinions about the actions of a religious organization that commands the lives of millions of people.
There's no reason that religion should get some kind of pass from critical examination. There's also no reason to say that people who are trying to unearth evidence about corruption in religious leaders are displaying poor form.

Watching all the anger and bitterness thrown at Gurinder. He's just a dude doing the best he can in the situation he finds himself. If people are stupid enough to put him on a pedestal thats their problem. I'm not going to become one of the haters. If there's a criminal case against Malv/Shiv, it seems strange the
court hasn't identified Gurinder et al as co-conspirators in a RICO
charge and subpoenaed their bank records already.
Absent such a charge, what would be the point of dragging
Gurinder et al to court to provide records that would need to be
verified by a separate forensic accounting? It would be an
embarrassing spectacle for the, as yet criminally uncharged,
Dhillons et al and not have any real evidentiary weight without
subsequent expert confirmation. There's no upside for them to
be there.
Such testimony would undoubtedly be subjected to the derision
of those convinced of their guilt no matter how exculpatory;
fodder for tabloids; and ultimately not probative anyway.
Others will wait for the court cases to unfold and evaluate the
Dhillons et al on actions both in court and out.

Isn't it strange that a Sant that is so spiritual that he can take on the karmas of millions and stand for his disciples misdeeds at the court of Yamaraja, can not stand for himself in a court of law to answer for his own deeds? Is it really a matter of his mortality or his morality that he is refusing to be present in court? Perhaps an Avatar could manifest and show him the way to balance and righteousness. Probably not though because as a Sant he is way beyond Avatars. Seems like some Deras are mafias these days, stealing lands and death threats when money is involved.

Jalianwala Bag (1919)and Saka Nankana (1921)were the worst atrocities in last 200 years of Punjab History.
Sir Sardar Bahadur OBE Sundar Singh Majithia was connected to both of these.

Google Jagdish Bhola and Bikram Majithia ,you will find youtube video,s in both english and punjabi.
And to know how clean indian legal system is google india supreme court in crisis over retired judge corruption case. (Guardian Newspaper article) Critics accuse Chief Justice Dipak Mishra of insisting only Judges of his choice can hear case of ex-judge accused of conspiring to bribe colleagues. The retired Judge is accused of conspiring to bribe supreme court Justices in a case over which over which the indian chief justice himself presided.

You wrote

The courts can and probably have already subpoenaed all monetary transfers and related financial institution records without the necessity of subpoening or charging Gurinder et al, as part of gathering evidence against Shivinder et al.
The demand for payment or evidence from Gurinder et al without making any charges is a wise step. Since Gurinder et al aren't being charged, but only ordered to pay, and now to submit evidence if they don't owe, they can't refuse to provide the records on the grounds of self - incrimination. But they can avoid providing that evidence, which could be used in a subsequent trial, simply by paying what the order demands.
The incentives are perfectly aligned for recovery of funds just as things stand, and only non- compliance of either payment or evidence would justify going further.

I am wondering how netizens are comfortable in posting their views and opinions without disclosing their identity.for the scenario like this its is essential to disclose the identity as you are claiming a dispute on the facts and artefacts. For those who are hiding the identity is clear indication that they can't dare to uncover themselves only for the reason they are in monetary profit for just pelting the stones.
Imagine the volume of funds involved in totality for babaji to take responsibility.
Netizens in this forum are also not aware about the fact of the land parcels truly owned by babaji from their ancestral property.
One thing is definitely true that incomplete and one sided information is being posted in various online newspapers.
The way comments are put across and the news is being published, it is clear case of evidence and none of them has even oversen or reviewed the ground reality facts and figures.
I am confident this post of mine will be deleted on this portal.for a moment, put your feet in babaji shoe, then visualise that In case if your family you own son or your own brother or your own wife or your own mother or your own father commits such type of issue, will you disown your own blood by ripping it off from your family, only because of monetory gain and only for worldly gains.
Lets not judge the matter on the basis of fake incomplete and biased facts generated for monetory gains, pull up your socks and dare to come on the ground to discuss.
Wish this post is allowed to be read by the target audience.

There goes a funny story/incident in our place, heard sometimes before:
It so happened that a bus carrying passengers was halted by Ticket checkers party to identify the ticketless travellers as also to scrutinise the sincerity, honesty of the Conductor/ Bus caretaker. Suddenly upon halt fearing huge penalty some of the ticketless travellers started running away. Party ran after them and caught hold of them. To their surprise one innocent with valid ticket was also among them.
On being questioned why did He run along with them. He replied they are his mates and he can not leave them.
Likely possibility, herein, could be similar. A sane guy having caught among not so sane or a few scoundrels.
The story thus far seems incomplete even though possibility of His imvolvement are crisp and partly clear.
May be as per His divine plan He just wants us to shift focus from Him-. portraying Himself as fallible Human entity with human flaws and limited Human qualities / discretion. and thus , compelling us ( His initiates) to make independent search inside of us about One-the only Truth ( rest fake - ephemeral ) than entirely dependent . on Him for spiritual and worldly responsibilities/ undertakings.
He seems hell-bent to make a connect that He himself has been in hot soup of Worldly intricacies of Life from which He has been. unable to. wriggle out then how can He help us in our worldly endeavours while He is too small to replace our spiritual efforts, therefore, and decorate results in a platter before us.

If that's true and illicit money was received I'm surprised the Dhillons didn't
just stipulate to receipt and make arrangements to repay without the
embarrassment of court appearances and potentially more serious charges.
On the other hand, maybe one of the account signatories siphoned it off
and the Dhillon's attorneys are stalling for time while tracing who actually
was behind it, where it went, how best to recover/recoup it, and trying to
protect their individual clients' reputation(s) in the process.

Hi Dungeness
I think what you suggest may have already happened. Gurinder realized that loans were were being listed in his and his family's name that they never heard of nor saw. It explains perfectly the letter to Malvinder.
"All that Gurinder would need to submit are bank statements, certified by the banks and accounts referenced in the loan documents, that the money the loan documents claim went into his accounts actually didn't. That there were no such deposits on the indicated dates from those companies. This would also help explain Gurinder's letter about the assets. That Malvinder should return the assets to him if Malvinder doesn't wish to settle the matter as agreed. In otherwords, once Gurinder found out he was being used, he offered to Mal and Shiv a couple of options privately."
Posted by: Spence Tepper | November 10, 2019 at 03:05 AM
In short, Dungeness, when Gurinder, in his May of 2018 letter to Malvinder, refers to the family settlement of 2013, and the current liabilities, he may be referring to the transfer of properties to Malvinder to help leverage real estate investments that went bad, but which Malvinder used as collateral for more loans in Gurinder et al's name, but actually siphoned to himself.
Hence Gurinder asks to return all the properties as well as the loans Malvinder siphoned using that property as collateral, signed falsely under Gurinder et al's name, and Gurinder will find a way to cover Malvinder 's losses.
"The amicable way forward is to reverse all the decisions and revert all the properties back to us with a list of all the liabilities and we will work to settle the accounts."
He may have been offering to help pay Malvinder' s debts all along.
In this story, Malvinder has used Gurinder et al to enrich himself using Gurinder's assets, leaving the paper trail of debt to Gurinder, who then says"'fine, if you can't repay what you took, just give me back the properties and the loans you drew for yourself using them as collateral and I'll work out repayment plans with the companies you took the loans from myself.'

What does it matter if you sign yourself by actual name or Donald Duck? This is a public forum not a Court of Law. It doesn't change the evidence presented or the opinions expressed.
People are free to express their views and opinions without having to give names and addresses out to the public. That is for Brian to know, not anyone else.
I keep hearing this all the time in the comments, now that I have the time to read them. It seems very odd to me. It doesn't bother me at all what people call themselves, you either agree or disagree with the comments.
In fact, it may be wise to remain anonymous if you are giving evidence against Gurinder because there are so many fanatics out there ready to pounce. Many of the facts mentioned on this site were actually presented to a well known higher end UK Newspaper coupled with substantiating evidence by an author and publisher but do you think he told them his real name? No way. He would have had half the satsang throwing stones at him as he used to be a satsang speaker at Haynes and knew exactly what was going on first hand. Who needs all that aggravation and venom?
Look what happens to these brave whistleblowers. For Brian and Spence it's like being on the front line, the verbal abuse and the mockery have been astonishing in the past.
Just a thought on anonymity.

@Steve What is this OCD obsession with trying to combat 'hate'? Hating things that are hateful is normal and REQUIRED in order to survive.
For example, I hate others who think I shouldn't hate certain things/people that mean me harm.
Because I hate these people, I disregard their opinions and avoid said harm. Simple.

Satguru Maharaj Rampal Ji (3 years older than GSD) skipped Court hearings 42 times then he was given exemption from appearance to maintain law and order.Following this his follwers started to disrupt court proceedings.Court then issued non-bailable arrest warants against Maharaj Rampal .When police tried to arrest him,his followers formed human chains outside the Dera.Followers told police police they will have to kill more than one hundered thousand followers before arresting him.Thousands of followers armed with lathi,s,sticks and firearms kept the police away for several days. After several days more than 20 thousand police forced their way into Dera. The police used earth movers to break wall on the rear side of main building .Once they managed to demolish the wall they were met by "armed commandos of Rampal" according Chief of police.Maharaj Rampal was arrested on the night of 19 November 2014,along with more than 900 of his followers .on charges of sedition, murder, aiding and abetting suicide-mongers.

What an amazing story about law enforcement originating from the land where apparently corruption reigns. Corruption is real.... Dude (in this land). Somebody said this in here. Looks like even this dude didn't know this. If only this Baba was a visitor in here.

And one more point, Dungeness,
This is why, if this is true, we should all help Gurinder to pay his debts. Because these debts would then actually be Malvinder / Shivinder/ Suni et al's mistakes fraudulently made with and siphoned from Gurinder's properties and accounts, and not actually Gurinder's at all.
But knowing this in May 2018, after the press had begun publishing the paper trail, Baba Ji offers to Mal to take the whole thing back on his own shoulders.
Completely different picture. But this hypothesis puts more of the actual evidence together better, I believe. (or want to believe). If we start with Mal, Shiv and Sunni cooking books they were intrusted with, it's possible.
It's one thing to say that a person has no debts. But if they bind themselves to others, taking on their debts, certainly we should help.
If this is so, I can also understand Shivender et al's reluctance to go through with this, burdening Gurinder et al who had given these properties in trust to them, and no doubt cosigned authority over Gurinder et al's bank accounts.
And it's possible that Gurinder et al didn't know a thing about the unsecured and uncolaterized loans until the press exposes since these were made without any escrow and third party confirmations, so that the trail leading to Gurinder et al may have just been a complete paper invention streamlined by keeping the loans unsecured.
But all this money trail was reported in the press by the time of the May 2018 letter. Facing that he had been defrauded by his cousins, Gurinder still offers to take on the debts himself.
Malvinder's decision not to accede to Gurindar's request is a mystery. But perhaps the fraud against Gurinder went even deeper, and so Shivender at all dare not transfer control of the accounts and properties, and liabilities to Gurinder et al. Because they would be far greater than anyone knows today and evidence of criminal fraud overwhelming. So long as Malvinder et al keeps this at the current level, he may be limiting both Gurinder and his own liability. There may be far more monies siphoned through trails that remain hidden, such as corporate statements of loss that didn't actually occur.
This would also help explain how Fortis and Religare, despite their largesse, could move to bankruptcy so quickly and easily.

His wife is having an operation in the uk. Hope they are paying for the operation.
Can you imagine if she used the NHS there would scandal. The NHS is free and should cater for uk citizens only. Why did not she go singapore???
If this got in the press here GSD would really become famous. But he will be in the uk on the 20th. There are rumours he may come already as security has to be enlisted.

Spence what am caused you to see the entire story differently? You have been narrating the opposite version for more than a year now. I’m curious why the change?
Posted by: Anon | November 10, 2019 at 08:48 AM
@ Amil Lana.
Reading your message I was wondering if their is anything on earth in terms of wrongdoing that could shake the believes of Indian followers of any Guru?

"you need tons of time to release inner hate in here and elsewhere"
Steve, it takes less than a minute to read all the new comments and reply. Don't be a silly little girl.
Nobody forced you to worship a man who you've never met. Why get salty with me when it turns out that man isn't actually God, and that he has spent his entire life chasing money?
What do you think, Steve? Do you think Gurinder was just wrongly accused of spending his entire life in the grips of greed?

Maybe you can find something on the internet related to the effect of emotions on the human body and mind.

I asked him. I demanded more information before continuing my role here. It was sickening me.
But I could be wrong....

Mr Spence,
You (and Brian), both of you belled the Tom cat with full confidence and slogged this issue consistently on this forum.
But your latest comment seems to absolve The Big Cat of His worldly sins directly with a rider that He just gave in to circumstances which He desperately tried to evade at first and then resorted to solving it amicably with His Guru's family failing which now in deep trouble alongwith rest all accomplices or what.
This a little strange from you.
PS: He still holds the same place in me as ever before.

Spence, let's consider Malvinder's criminal complaint in light of your rather bizarre theory that Malvinder somehow set up shell companies that listed Dhillon family members as directors without their knowledge and funneled money into accounts that had the names of Dhillon family members -- all without the RSSB guru and his family being aware of this, and without the RSSB guru and his family complaining about it after numerous stories about money going to the Dhillons appeared in the Indian financial press, including a Bloomberg story that was on the RSSB web site.
Then, Malvinder files a criminal complaint alleging that the Dhillons, Shivinder, and Godhwani, the guru's close associate, defrauded HIM, and he shares copies of ledger entries that over $100 million went to the Dhillon family. Here's how I summarized the complaint. Why would Malvinder do this under your theory that he was the mastermind who forged Dhillon family names on accounts if he wanted to avoid the attention of legal authorities? See:
https://hinessight.blogs.com/church_of_the_churchless/2019/10/malvinders-criminal-complaint-casts-light-on-rssb-gurus-alleged-role-in-financial-fraud.html
https://hinessight.blogs.com/church_of_the_churchless/2019/02/legal-filing-against-gurinder-singh-dhillon-is-fascinating-reading.html
My summary:
-------------------
I strongly recommend reading the criminal complaint in full. Though the stories in the Indian financial press accurately reflect what is in the complaint, there's additional details in the complaint. And it is well-written in what I assume is the style of Indian legal documents of this sort.
...Sunil Godhwani was the guru's right-hand-man/close advisor for many years. Control of companies owned by the Singh brothers passed to Godhwani at the request of Gurinder Singh. This is the first mention of how Malvinder Singh viewed the guru as a spiritual guide, father figure, and mentor. Malvinder and Shivinder are initiates of Gurinder Singh, I'm pretty sure.
...This excerpt talks about how Godhwani wasn't running the companies on his own, but was in "consultation and conspiracy" with Gurinder Singh to cheat Malvinder.
...To understand this excerpt, we need to remember that the RSSB guru is considered by devotees to be God in human form. Hence, his advice and guidance can be trusted as divine. Malvinder says that he trusted Gurinder as his spiritual guru and believed "he can do no wrong." Almost certainly he can, though, as we'll see in the next sections of the complaint.
...Shivinder is alleged to have spent a lot of time at the Dera (RSSB headquarters) working on a conspiracy to take money from RHC (a holding company formed by the Singh brothers with many subsidiaries) and shift the money to the guru, his relatives, and others -- leaving RHC with no assets but only liabilities, which obviously hurts Malvinder and other RHC shareholders.
...Via an audit, Malvinder learns that RHC is debt-ridden and wasn't a "going concern." This leads him to investigate what happened. He learns that his brother, Shivinder, hasn't engaged in any sort of normal business practices, which the complaint argues shows the fraudulent intent of acquiring various companies held by RHC.
...The complaint says that Malvinder learned that the RHC companies had loaned 1006 crores, which seems to be about $142 million US dollars, to Gurinder Singh, the guru's family, and other close associates of the guru.
...After listing the exact amounts of RHC loans that total to the $142 million, the complaint alleges that Godhwani, in collusion with Shivinder and Gurinder Singh, "intrinsically intertwined" the finances of the Dhillon family with the finances of the companies -- which, as noted above, had shareholders whose interests weren't served by taking money from RHC to give to the Dhillon's.
...Here's one of the motives (maybe the main motive) of Shivinder going to such lengths to funnel money into the pockets of Gurinder Singh Dhillon and his family. The guru had promised to make Shivinder the head of RSSB, taking Gurinder Singh's place, in exchange for forgiveness of the debts owed to RHC by the guru.
...This part of the complaint says that Shivinder, in connivance with Gurinder Singh, his family, and close associates fraudulently acquired six companies in order to hide from RHC shareholders what was going on, and to shield the people who had gotten loans from RHC from having to repay the money.
...Shivinder agrees to sign a "family settlement" that absolves Gurinder Singh Dhillon of wrongdoing or criminality. But Malvinder has objections to this, as detailed in some emails included in an appendix to the complaint. Again, Malvinder alleges that his brother, Shivinder, agreed to this "in his greed to become the next spiritual head of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas."
...When Malvinder refuses to sign the settlement agreement, things get really nasty. Malvinder says that Gurinder Singh threatened that he would be eliminated by people from the Radha Soami Satsang, and warned him that the guru is a powerful person who has friends in high places.
...Malvinder states that he has recordings of the death threats made by Gurinder Singh and can make them available as and when desired. He also has received "veiled innuendos and threats" from other members of RSSB. Not surprisingly, this has put Malvinder "under immense mental pressure and trauma."
He's fearful for his life, saying that if anything happens to him this will be at the "behest of Sh. Gurinder Singh Dhillon and the other accused and those working under his influence."
...Here the complaint says that Shivinder Singh has refused to try to recover the loan money as part of "his evil design to effectively try and write off the debt of the Dhillon Family."
...This isn't a victimless crime, because Fortis Healthcare will be affected, diluting the value of shares owned by investors, defrauding the public, and adversely impacting public confidence.

I believe further, that Gurinder may have offered two options to Malvinder. One that was agreed on verbally in 2013, and the other, after Malvinder 's frauds came to light in 2018.
1.Keep the properties I entrusted to you in 2013, sign your responsibility for them as agreed back in 2013, which you never signed, including all the fraud you committed with them since 2013,and take all the consequences of these frauds you engaged in... Or...
2.Just give me the properties and the liabilities and the whole mess you've made and I'll shoulder the whole thing, including working out payment plans to cover your frauds. That's what the May 18 th letter was about.
It had nothing to do with the Guruship. It was all about helping deal with over extended real estate investments conducted by Malvinder, Sunhil et al, originally by handing over to Malvinder all the existing properties as collateral to help crawl their way out of the hole he, Sunny and Shiv had gotten Gurinder et al in. But when they screwed things up worse, offering to shoulder the entire blame.
Which, incredibly, Gurinder is proceeding to do by putting himself on show as an unreliable witness. Incredible!!
Or so it seems... We'll learn more on the 14th.

You wanna back Malvinder in this Bollywood drama of I'll intent, good luck to you.
It's highly unlikely that Malvinder is the hard done by poor suckered plaintiff in this saga, far more likely that he's the architect of the fallout as it was him at the helm of Ranbaxy when all the bum meds were being peddled across the FDA board for quick buck profiteering and which got them busted for $500 million recompense both by FDA and by Daiichi at Singapore arbitration tribunal.

Perfectly laid out, Brian. An accurate and objective summary of events and legal proceedings. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
My own personal lightning bolt of truth was Ranbaxy. To me that was pure evil on par with the Mafia.
Posted by: Maria de La Torre | November 10, 2019 at 10:38 AM
Ranbaxy was under Malvinder not Gurinder.
So Maria d LT should set her objectionable sights in the right direction.

I am probably not alone here -- I reckon a lot of the people here would like to hear a different tale. At least I'd like to. Spence's comments of late show he's beginning to see things in retrospect. I am interested in seeing where this is headed because his commentary on this site is probably the most meaningful.
I said this on another forum on this site -- I am not going to go seek anther path. I don't have to. Path of the Masters or Sant Mat is the highest, most logical, most scientific method of 'going in' there is.
Now while we're being pulled in different directions, here's something I'd like to share from a Satsangi who is currently touring India. he's about thrice my age. He was initiated by a rep named Sam Busa during Huzur's days many years ago.
There's no way for me to upload an attachment in the comments so I'll put this in the cloud and share a URL. This is a letter / email from him sent to a buddy of his who was also my dad's buddy. The guy died a few weeks ago at his home in Hawaii. I am sharing this without any consent so I'll remove names.

People on the path are making progress. Or is he just deluded now at age 70?

Brian is right. It is impossible that baba is an innocent party. He received the money and refused to pay it back and was involved in fraud. Very serious,

Yes, Whodunit, Malvinder was at the helm of Ranbaxy and knew what was going on and was a part of it. He may be telling the truth about other stuff but he is a mega, ruthless crook himself. I wouldn't trust him an inch. They are all suspect as far as I can see. If Gurinder was 'all knowing' he would have come down on Malvinder and Ranbaxy's dangerous corruption like a ton of bricks. I remember Charan Singh saying that drug dealers should be reported to the police, so what about people selling fake medication prescription drugs that endanger people's lives and health? To me, that's far worse.
Posted by: Maria de La Torre | November 10, 2019 at 11:44 AM
whodunit-Ranbaxy was under Malwinder not Gurinder.
No. Ranbaxy was under the care of Davinder Singh Brar . Brar was a very loyal and dear friend of Parvinder Singh and meant to be guardian of young boys when Parvinder singh died in 1999. GSD managed to oust him and became guardian of boys. In the meantime GSD fell in love with Majithia and it was Majithia-Badal team that were controlling everything including the land grab of 22 villages.

Your words, strange enough, made me think of the Japanese soldiers who went on to live up to their vows as soldiers even when the war was over and they had lost all contact with the military command.
Those who were initated are all free to live up to the promises they made for themselves for the rest of their lives.
One can do that and be true to oneselves, even if the whole outer sant mats comes to an end .

There are people with vested interest in labeling Gurinder as accomplice and chucking dirt at him due to their own lack of integrity and humility.
There's a huge difference between those who have gratitude and others ingrained arrogance responsibile for breeding ingratitude.
It's for the individual to determine his level of trust and humility.
The story of Amar Das and Ram Das holds sway still. All his disciples thought he had become senile and lost his sense of reason when he kept telling them to rebuild the mud platforms for holding discourse.
Only Ram Das remained true to his Guru's injunction. He was the true disciple the rest fell far short.
As did Christ's disciples when the Roman's came to arrest him they deserted him and ducked for cover.

Gurinder is still Malvinder's 2nd cousin and entrusted mentor. If Malvinder was running rogue with Ranbaxy from early on Gurinder was still trying to fulfill his duties as elder family member and his mentor role beside his more important duties as RSSB patron and spiritual leader. Besides undergoing chemo therapy in Singapore and other stringent duties and responsibilities.
