"Zen and the Psychology of Self-Transformation: The Supreme Doctrine". I do like some of the Zen teachings but prefer the Taoist way, nothingness, emptiness, living in harmony with the way, the path. I suppose it depends on which path we choose to follow. Sant Mat is the most difficult imo. We have to give up lust, anger, attachment, greed and ego. A lifelong task, leading to true self-transformation. Constant vigilance of self with no expectations, no desire. Attachment the most difficult. The intellect keeps us trapped in our habits and finds excuses to indulge in the five deadly passions.

Simple and clear. Thank you, Brian.
