Cosmic!
The next morning after I blog about my communication with God, where I learned that this non-existent divine being is deeply irritated with us humans, a cartoon pops up in my Facebook feed with similar message.

Yeah pretty funny. There should also be a cartoon about how the world accidentally formed humans that act as a cancer on one another and this planet, but I guess it's hard to make fun of a brain dead universe especially when you think it magically created itself. Now the belief that the universe magically created itself that's funny.

Wow! Your God and the God in my head sound very similar... except mine curses a lot more.
I wonder sometimes why I seem to get so upset at others holding certain beliefs I personally consider so blindingly obviously ill-considered and inferior (whilst at the same time realising that I am no keeper-of-the-truth and am as liable to human error as the next person).
I suspect it may have something to do with democracy: their thinking affects their voting which affects my society and therefore can affect my life.
That annoys the crap out of me.
If I was living in a dictatorship, where the dictator believed everything I did, then I suspect I wouldn't get so annoyed.

Whoah!
Just visiting and clicked on the discussion group link -- you say it "hasn't seen a lot of action", but I'm telling, there's plenty of action there now! Not very spiritual action though. ;)

Jason, yeah, it's a nightmare. I don't even want to look at the discussion group. I changed my email address a long time ago. Now I can't figure out a way to retrieve the password I used to set up the group, since Google will only send the password to the email address used to set it up.
Oh, well. It gives spammers a place to play around. Someday I'll figure out a way to delete the group, once I convince Google Groups I'm the rightful administrator.
