Is there such a word as a-deist?

Also, do you know of Sharon Salzberg's book "faith: Trusting Your Own Deepest Experience"? She is a Buddhist; not the Theistic kind. And she has found what I found through another author (well, she does also quote him) and Etymology Online Dictionary; which is a different definition(s) for Faith than what is perpetrated by Christianity (and perhaps other religions).

It's a troubled word to be sure. But I think the original concept is still useful. Salzberg includes other definitions such as: courage, the opposite of despair, and the ability to see a purpose beyond the mundane and take action to bring about that which is not yet. She mentions the "faith" of Suu Kyi, the Burmese Democracy leader, as an example of someone able to see something greater.
